Reasons I love America, Chapter 1

Phoenixville, Pa. – Yesterday I watched with awe as a man climbed into his Hyundai Azera, which bore no indication that he or his passenger/mother suffered from a state-sanctioned disability, backed out of a handicapped parking spot at the front door of the CVS and drove 100 feet across a macadam sea and straight into a handicapped spot next to the adjacent Wawa store. He then exited the car, left mom behind in the passenger seat and walked into the store, all the while pulling off a remarkable impersonation of an able-bodied individual with a retarded conscience.
I’d say “nice work, dickhead,” but that would be judgmental and mean-spirited.
It was a breathtaking maneuver.
That’s all.
